GEM Anti Blow-Up Tool
The GEM Anti Blow-Up Tool is designed to prevent the tool string from being blown up the well under any circumstances. The dogs are capable of retracting into the 1 ¼” and 1 ½” O.D. body and extending outward to 4”. This tool has been proven to be the most reliable tool on the market. Spang Link Jars (Mechanical Jars)
The Spang Link Jar provides upward and downward impact in order to operate certain wireline tools. GEM Industries have been manufacturing Jars over 30 years with great success.
GEM Tubing End Locator
The GEM Tubing End Locator is used to determine the depth of the tubing through the use of a spring loaded arm. The spring loaded arm catches the end of the tubing when pulled upward, registering a reading on the surface weight indicator.
The GEM Tubing End Locator offers a safe way out of the tubing, if the tool string does not reach the end of the tubing. The spring loaded arm can be shared by jarring upward at the end of the tubing, in a collar, or in a landing nipple. After the pin has been sheared and the tool retrieved from the well. The position of the arm will determine whether the locator was sheared at the end of the tubing, in a collar, or a nipple.
Impression Block
The Impression Block Consists of a steel housing with a lead insert. Impression Blocks are used to determine the shape, size, and position of the object being fished.
Measuring Head Assembly
GEM Industries manufactures the entire measuring head assembly including both the 8” and 16” styles. We have all the replacement parts necessary to repair any measuring head. In addition GEM can assemble your measuring head for cable drive or direct drive.
